Short Bionicle Rant
Well, I actually don’t know if it’s going to be short or not, but here it goes.
This is disturbingly accurate for me, although I stopped following the story a few years before Matoro’s death. Hero Factory really just isn’t the same, and I’m afraid that since part of what caused Bionicle’s sales to slip was its complex (for its demographic) story that LEGO will never try something like that again, and if Bionicle comes back it’ll be horribly oversimplified.
But who knows. Maybe some day it’ll come back, and even if it isn’t the same as before, I think I’ll still have to look into it.

I feel it should be rebooted too, as a theatrical release movie. Think about it. The recent movies Bionicle is closest to are Avatar, and Transformers, both of which made incredible amounts of money.
